Who can I call anonymously if I’m worried about my thoughts or actions?
It may feel really difficult to ask for help from people you know when you concerns are about sex and children. But talking to someone about your thoughts is important. Sharing your worries with others is the first step toward ensuring that you’re not going to harm yourself or others - and toward getting better.
Anonymous: You can choose to be anonymous. You don’t need to share your name, address, or anything else to get help.
Confidential: The counselors have a duty of confidentiality and treat your information confidentially.
When you contact counseling lines, you will get help from competent, educated adults who are used to talking to young people in difficult situations. They will meet you with understanding and kindness - you don’t have to fear a dismissive reaction.
