Is it OK to spend time together with children who turn me on?

You should avoid as much as possible spending time alone with children you find attractive.

That way, you can:

1. Protect yourself from doing something illegal.
2. Protect the child from ending up in a potentially dangerous, abusive, and traumatic situation.

Unfortunately, it isn’t always possible to avoid being with children who turn you on - maybe they’re at your work, or maybe they are family friends who come to visit your home.

If you can’t avoid being with children who turn you on, make sure there is always an adult in the room with you so that you aren’t alone with them. This might not always be possible, and difficult situations can arise. Maybe the person who turns you on is even in your own family. If it’s hard for you to avoid and it worries you, remember that you can try to get help and advice anonymously.
